Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Sessions:

EAP uses a team of an Equine Specialist and Therapist joined with horses to promote individual, family and group therapy.

EAP is closely related to Gestalt therapy using body language to provide the patient with the opportunity to understand and discover themselves.

A session primarily consists of safety reviews, setting goals and processing. It's not the goal to accomplish the goal but to understand and integrate the process. Processing focuses on communication, body language, relationships, patterns, feelings, attitudes, problem solving and closure.
